Social Networks are a great way to get involved, connect with other Liberty Leaders, and organize events and meetings. Below you’ll find information & instructions about the most common tools.
Facebook is a networking website that allows users to create online profiles, connect with other users, sponsor events, , and build networks. Use it to find fellow Liberty Leaders, create invitations to events, post photos and keep track of other pro liberty movements around the state.
1. Sign up for a free account at Facebook.com here.
2. Search for “Liberty Leaders” in the search box in the upper middle of the page, and click “Like”. This will keep you up to date with the Liberty Leaders Program.
3. Start “friending” your friends, neighbors and fellow freedom fighters. Facebook will automatically update you with their information, and keep you informed of their events
4. Log into Facbook regularly, and try to be as active as possible.

Twitter is a messaging service that allows users to send a short 140 character message to to other users. Its a excellent way to send updates, information and links to your friends and fellow tweeters. Use it to organize a rally, stay in touch, or just share goings-on with a group.
1. Sign up for an account at Twitter.com here.
2. Once your set up, type “LibertyLeaderIL“, “OpenIllinois” & “IllinoisPolicy” in the search box on the right side of the page, and follow them. That will keep you up to date with everything the Liberty Leaders Project, and the Illinois Policy Institute, are doing.
2. Search for your friends, relatives, and fellow Liberty Leaders on twitter, and start following their tweets.
3. Use Twitter to message people for your next event rally or meeting. Its just that easy!
